The ceremony witnessed the release of pigeons, which symbolise peace, freedom, and the nation’s commitment to remembering its fallen heroes.
The Vice President attended the ceremony at the Cenotaph of the Unknown Soldier, Eagle Square, Abuja, on behalf of President Bola Tinubu.
