Afrobeats star Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, clinched three major awards at the 2026 All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA), themed “Unstoppable Africa.”
The ceremony, held on Sunday at the Eko Convention Centre, Lagos State, saw Rema emerge as Artist of the Year, Best Male Artist in Western Africa, and Best African Artist (R&B/Soul) for his hit song, “Is a Crime.”
Also at the event, Shallipopi and Burna Boy won Best Collaboration of the Year, while “Laho” was crowned Song of the Year.
Burna Boy’s project, “No Sign of Weakness,” also secured the Album of the Year award.
Meanwhile, Ghanaian singer Wendy Shay won Best Female Artist in Western Africa.
