Super Eagles defender, Bright Osayi-Samuel has predicted the outcome of Nigeria’s face-off with Morocco in the semi-final AFCON tie on Wednesday.
Nigeria and Morocco secured their spots in the semi finals after beating Algeria and Cameroon, respectively, in the quarter-final stage.
While Cameroon’s match against Morocco ended 0-2 on Friday, the Super Eagles of Nigeria also kept the same spirit, defeating Algeria 2-0 on Saturday.
Speaking with reporters at his post-match interview after Nigeria defeated Algeria 2-0 at the weekend, sayi-Samuel said the match against Morocco will be difficult but expressed confidence that the Super Eagles would come out victorious against the host.
“Morocco will be a different team, you know”.“
They have the fans with them, so it will be difficult, but we believe in ourselves. I think the way we are playing, you know, they [Algeria] didn’t have a shot on target against us”.
“We just keep believing in ourselves and keep believing what the manager wants us to do, and I think we will beat Morocco too.”
