Superstar Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Adekunle Kosoko, popularly known as Adekunle Gold, has confirmed that he and his wife, fellow music star Simi, have welcomed twins.
The singer made the announcement via his Snapchat story, where he wrote, “Asked God for another child and he blessed me double,” confirming the arrival of the new additions to their family.
The news comes weeks after Simi sparked pregnancy speculation with a post in December 2025. She shared a clip from Adekunle Gold’s newly released music video, My Love Is the Same, captioned, “From my baby, for my babies.” In the video, Simi appeared with a visible baby bump, hinting that the couple was expecting another child.
Adekunle Gold and Simi, both former X3M Music artistes, are regarded as one of Nigeria’s most prominent celebrity couples. Their relationship, which began as a close friendship and musical partnership, has remained in the public eye over the years.
The couple tied the knot in a private wedding ceremony in January 2019. In May 2020, they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Adejare Kosoko, fondly called Deja.
Fans and colleagues across the entertainment industry have since taken to social media to congratulate the couple on the birth of their twins.
