Timini Egbuson, popular Nigerian Nollywood actor, is mourning the loss of his father Samuel Oyindobra Egbuson.
The actor, who is the brother of actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande, shared the news in a heartfelt Instagram post on Sunday, expressing his shock and grief.
Accompanying a carousel of photos that honoured his father’s memory, Egbuson wrote about the difficulty of beginning the year with such a painful farewell.
Although Timini didn’t reveal the date and cause of death, he promised to continue honoring his father’s legacy through his life and work.
Egbuson concluded with a prayer for the peaceful repose of his father’s soul.
“Didn’t think I’ll start the year saying this, rest in peace dad. So much left unsaid but I’ll keep making you proud,” he wrote.
