The 38-year-old was flagged after police responded to reports of an assault near Sibley and Detonia Park avenues. Authorities said Ejerua was employed as a caregiver at the Toronto Group Home.

“The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating a man wanted in an assault investigation,” the statement read.

Investigators allege that Ejerua committed multiple assaults on residents of the facility between November 1 and November 30, 2025, prompting seven counts of assault to be filed against him.

Police did not disclose the number of victims or details about the nature of the injuries sustained. They called on anyone with information about the suspect’s whereabouts to come forward.

“He is described as 5’8, with a medium build, black curly hair, and black facial hair. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-5500, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477), or at www.222tips.com,” the statement stated.

The police urged the public to assist in locating Ejerua promptly to ensure the safety of residents and prevent further incidents at the care home.
