A cleric, Pastor Toye Ebijomore, has predicted that President Bola Tinubu will give Nigeria a new name before the end of his tenure and successfully overcome political plots against his administration.
Ebijomore, the founder and General Overseer of God’s Anointed and Blessed Church International, Akure, made the declaration while unveiling his prophecy for 2026 on Friday.
He said a powerful coalition of political parties would emerge ahead of the 2027 general election with the aim of taking over federal power, but added that internal challenges and misfortunes would weaken the alliance and eventually lead to its collapse.
According to the cleric, the ruling party would retain power in the next election, noting that a stronger opposition capable of dislodging it would only emerge in the future.
Ebijomore also urged President Tinubu to heed divine instruction by convening a national prayer to restore Nigeria’s lost glory, which he described as critical to the nation’s redemption.
The cleric predicted that Nigeria would experience a food surplus in the second half of 2026 and called on the government to maximise the opportunity by making food and healthcare more affordable for citizens.
“There will be plenty of food in Nigeria from the second half of this year, but the government should work towards making foods and health cheaper for the people.
“There is great abundance ahead in this year, and attacks of the devil on people will also be many.
“But those who can pray genuinely and have the blood of Jesus as a seal upon them will not be harmed.
“In this year, there will be healing and deliverance for people who believe in the Lord.
“The Lord said to me that He will appear in this year to vacate the curse of untimely death on many people and give them testimony of living healthy till old age,” he said.
Ebijomore further warned that insecurity would assume new dimensions, shifting from kidnapping to robbery, sponsored violence, arson and bomb attacks in public places, urging the government to remain vigilant.
He also cautioned that there would be attempts to sponsor misguided individuals against reputable persons, especially clerics, and predicted that Ondo State would witness remarkable manifestations and emerge as one of the most favoured states in the federation.
