World-renowned boxer, Anthony Joshua, was on Sunday involved in a road accident in Makun area of Ogun State.
The incident reportedly occurred along a busy section of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, according to eyewitness accounts.
It was gathered that the vehicle conveying the boxer collided with another car, though the exact circumstances surrounding the crash were still unclear as of press time.
An eyewitness, who contacted PUNCH Online and said he took part in the rescue effort, disclosed that Joshua sustained minor injuries, adding that two persons were confirmed dead at the scene.
