The National Working Committee (NWC) of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has approved the appointment of a 17-man caretaker committee for the party in Oyo State.
The announcement was made on Wednesday.
The announcement was contained in a statement signed by the National Organising Secretary of the party, Hon. Umar Bature.
The statement indicated that the caretaker committee members are charged with the responsibility to run the affairs of the party as stated in constitution of the political party.
“Accordingly, the assignment takes effect from December 24th 2025 and the Committee is charged with the responsibility of running the affairs of the Party in Oyo State as stipulated in Section 21(2) (a-b) of our Party Constitution for a period not exceeding 30 days”.
