I don’t regret my past relationships – Tonto Dikeh opens up

Must read

Nollywood actress and politician, Tonto Dikeh has opened up about her past relationships in a new interview with Chude, making it clear that she holds no regrets.

She described her past experiences as essential lessons that contributed to her growth.

Reflecting on her high-profile breakups, Tonto explained how each situation shaped her. Regarding her marriage to Olakunle Churchill, she said: “Honestly I have only regretted one thing in my life but my relationship no. My first relationship (Churchill) gave me the most beautiful boy in the whole world.”

Speaking on her second major relationship, she noted: “The second one (Prince Kpokpogri) taught me that even mean if you show me true love you can still be the devil. So, I learnt a lot from my relationships I will never say I regret it.”

While she admitted she might make different choices today, she refuses to dwell on the past. She shared: “Should I have been there? Hmmmm if I was to take myself back probably I wouldn’t have gotten myself involved or indulge in that but I don’t think I have a right to regret what I went through because I put myself there. All I have to do is to grow, learn and move on.”

Tonto also hinted that she is ready to unveil a more powerful version of herself, suggesting that people have often misjudged her strength. She stated: “People should be afraid of me because I am a very underestimated person, people don’t know what I can do and it’s time to show them what I can do.”
