NNPCL cuts petrol price

Must read

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has reduced its petrol price for the third time this December, bringing relief to motorists amid fluctuating fuel costs.

A survey in Abuja on Thursday showed that NNPCL has adjusted its pump price to N835 per litre, down from N915, marking an N80 reduction.

The price review follows similar adjustments by MRS, BOVAS, and AA Rano, whose petrol pump prices in the nation’s capital now range between N739 and N865 per litre.

Industry watchers say the latest cut by NNPCL and other stations comes after Dangote Refinery and depot owners lowered their ex-depot prices to between N699 and N800 per litre.

NNPCL had previously reduced fuel prices on December 4 and 10, 2025, as part of ongoing efforts to align pump prices with supply costs and refinery adjustments.
