Popular Nollywood actress, Angela Okorie has explained reason she deliberately avoids attending some public events, saying she relies on discernment and prayer before accepting invitations.
The actress shared her thoughts in a post on Instagram, where she said not every invitation comes with good intentions. According to her, personal safety and spiritual awareness matter more than public appearances.
“Not all invitations you should go. Some are plotting to kill or destroy you, that’s why as a human being you need to pray for deliverance so God can show you who y’all are dealing with, most of you, why I don’t attend some of your events is deep down y’all don’t like me, but you want me in ur events cos am the life of the party,” she wrote.
Angela added that no amount of money can make her attend an event if she feels uneasy about it, stressing that peace of mind comes first.
Angela Okorie began her acting career in 2009 after working as a model and has since featured in over 100 Nollywood films. She won the City People Entertainment Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2015.Entertainment center
