Controversial Nollywood actor and filmmaker Ajemba Stanley, well known as Stanley Ontop, has described the outcome of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, presidential election as questionable and unfair.
Stanley made the statement while reacting to the recently concluded AGN national election held in Edo State on Saturday, December 6, 2025.
AFRIPOST gathered that Regina Daniels’ mother, actress Rita Daniels, lost the Guild presidential election to the National Secretary, actor Abubakar Yakubu.
AFRIPOST also reported earlier than Nollywood actress, Dayo Amusa emerged victoriously as the national vice president-elect.
Reacting to the outcome on his Instagram page, Stanley stated that “the AGN presidential election outcome is questionable.”
Expressing disappointment, he claimed: “It appears the process was unfair, particularly with regards to Hon Rita Daniels’ candidacy. The alleged influence of a powerful individual in Abuja is concerning.
“I acknowledge other winners, but the presidential election outcome is questionable. It is regrettable that some delegates prioritised personal gain over association integrity. Regina’s mum would have won Yakubu hands down, but powers in Abuja hijacked it. It’s well!! Shame on una.”
