Nollywood Actress, Funke Akindele’s soon-to-be-released film ‘Behind The Scenes’ has recorded a historic milestone ahead of its Nigerian release.
Distribution company FilmOne, in collaboration with the actress, announced the achievement on Instagram on Thursday, writing: “The UK is showing BIG LOVE! Behind The Scenes just became the BIGGEST ticketed UK premiere of all time with 1,550+ admissions and now 7 SCREENS selling out back-to-back!

The film, produced under the Funke Akindele Network, follows emotional themes of pain, healing and the unseen struggles many people face.
Behind The Scenes features a star-studded cast including Tobi Bakre, Iyabo Ojo, Uzor Arukwe, Uche Montana, Destiny Etiko, Ini Dima-Okojie, Ibrahim Chatta and others. Funke also doubles as co-director alongside Tunde Olaoye.
The movie is set for a Nigerian premiere on December 7, before opening in cinemas nationwide on December 12.
