The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has officially ratified the expulsion of Hon. Leke Abejide from the party over alleged acts of indiscipline.
The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, announced the decision on behalf of the National Working Committee (NWC) at a meeting held on Thursday at the ADC National Headquarters in Abuja.
The expulsion follows a directive by the Kogi State Executive Committee, which found Abejide guilty of behaviour inconsistent with the party’s values.
The ADC stated that it would not tolerate indiscipline among its members, as it seeks to build a party rooted in character, integrity, and discipline.
In addition, the party instructed the Kogi State leadership to fill all vacant positions at the ward, local government, and state levels.
