Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Barr. Nyesom Wike, has extended warm birthday felicitations to former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, as he turns 65, describing him as “a valuable friend and brother” whose convictions are unwavering.
In a congratulatory letter shared on Friday by his Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, Wike praised Fayose for his enduring influence in Nigerian politics.
“From the deepest part of my heart, I congratulate you on the occasion of your 65th Birthday,” Wike wrote.
“That you have attained this age is no doubt a confirmation of the grace the Almighty God has bestowed on you, and a challenge for more service to our country, Nigeria.”
The FCT Minister noted that Fayose has remained “a reference point in politics and governance in Nigeria” and highlighted his authenticity in public life.
“You are such a valuable friend and brother, who will never pretend about where he stands on issues,” Wike added.
He prayed for continued health and success for the former governor, wishing him a life filled with “fruitful days and immeasurable blessings.” Wike concluded: “To a dependable ally, whose yes is yes, and no is no, happy Birthday.”
