Some candidates who are contesting the forthcoming election of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Oyo State Council have submitted their nomination forms.
Those who submitted their forms include Raji Adebayo of Correspondents’ Chapel who is contesting as Chairman, Adebayo Abdur-Rofih of Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS) as Vice Chairman, Olamide Adeniji of Information Chapel as Secretary and Moses Morenikeji of Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) as Treasurer.
Others are Nurudeen Alimi of Tribune Chapel who is contesting for the position of Auditor and Akinjola Olubode of BCOS as Asst. Secretary.
Adebayo while speaking said with the submission of their individual forms, they have moved a step forward towards their victory by beaten the deadline set by the electoral committee.
He pledged that all the candidates in his team will abide by the guidelines set up by the electoral committee.
Adebayo while speaking further, then appealed to their supporters to demonstrate calmness and maturity.
He advised their supporters to continue to pray for their success in the election.
He added that God will deliver their victories.
