Controversial Nigerian social media critic, VeryDarkMan has mocked protesters who came out for the #FreeNnamdiKanuNow protest.
According to the activist, in an Instagram live video, the protesters came out for clout instead of justice.
He said: “Protest don go down. Nnamdi Kanu protest went down immediately they arrested Sowore, you know why?
“Because the people didn’t even know what they were going to fight for. They went to support Sowore because of hype, not because they knew the cause.”
Recall that former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer, his brother and others who are seeking for his release protested, and were later apprehended.
