The political atmosphere across Ado, Okpokwu, and Ogbadibo Federal Constituency has been reenergized as Hon. Isaac Urama Adoyi embarks on a grassroots consultation tour that is rapidly gaining momentum within the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
The young politician, whose name has become synonymous with humility and service, is rallying stakeholders ahead of the 2027 general elections with a message focused on unity, loyalty, and renewed faith in the PDP.
Hon. Adoyi kicked off the tour in his hometown, Owukpa, where he addressed community members at Eke Akpa Primary School, officially announcing his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat.
Supporters described the event as a “reunion of faith and purpose,” as the aspirant was received with cheers and songs of solidarity.
From there, the movement shifted to Otukpa, the administrative headquarters of Ogbadibo Local Government, where leaders of the party at various levels joined loyal members to give him a warm reception at Petela Hotels.
The consultation climaxed in Ado Local Government, where Adoyi’s humility and record of community support earned him a symbolic renaming by the people, who began calling him “Isaac Urama Ado”, a gesture that underscored his growing acceptance beyond his immediate community.
Speaking at the gatherings, Hon. Adoyi reiterated his allegiance to the PDP, stressing that his political ambition was driven by the desire to strengthen the party and deliver meaningful representation to the people.
“I am not just here to seek votes; I am here to renew our collective belief in what the PDP stands for,” he stated. “Whatever happens in 2027, my loyalty to this party and to our people remains absolute.”
Party stakeholders and supporters in the three local governments responded with glowing remarks, praising the aspirant for his consistency and people-centred approach to politics.
They described him as “a unifier and bridge-builder” whose presence has already begun to boost morale within the party.
The consultations, which drew a mix of youths, elders, and community leaders, are seen as part of Adoyi’s strategy to consolidate support for his 2027 ambition while galvanising the PDP base across Benue South.
