The Lumen Christi International High School Old Students Association (LUCOSA) has congratulated its former President, Barrister Paul E. Usenbo, on his appointment as the Commissioner for Power in Edo State by Governor Monday Okpebholo.
In a statement signed by the President of LUCOSA, Chief Tosan Aiboni, the association described Usenbo’s appointment as a well-deserved recognition of his exceptional leadership qualities and professional excellence.
“Barrister Usenbo’s appointment is a testament to his integrity, intellect, and commitment to service,” Aiboni said.
“He demonstrated visionary leadership during his tenure as LUCOSA President, and we are confident he will bring the same passion and dedication to advancing the power sector in Edo State.”
LUCOSA also commended Governor Okpebholo for what it called his visionary leadership and the remarkable progress recorded across the state since assuming office.
The association praised the governor for appointing competent and dedicated individuals who share his commitment to sustainable development and good governance.
According to the statement, Barrister Usenbo’s elevation reflects the enduring values of discipline, excellence, and service instilled by Lumen Christi International High School, Uromi.
It noted that his appointment is a source of pride to the LUCOSA community and an inspiration to younger alumni.
“LUCOSA takes pride in the growing impact of its members in public service and national development,” the statement added. “We are confident that Barrister Usenbo will justify the confidence reposed in him by contributing meaningfully to the transformation of Edo State’s power sector.”
The association joined the entire Lumen Christi community in celebrating the achievement and wished the new commissioner continued success as he supports Governor Okpebholo’s efforts to strengthen the state’s economy and improve energy access.
