A 30-year-old man, identified as Sanusi Tinau, has reportedly been beaten to death by a husband after allegedly attempting to entice the man’s wife in Lumbu community, Ningi Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
According to security analyst Zagazola Makama, who disclosed the incident in a post on X (formerly Twitter) sighted by AFRIPOST, the attack occurred around 2:09 a.m. on Friday when the deceased allegedly visited the woman’s home.
Makama reported that the enraged husband attacked Tinau and beat him to a state of unconsciousness before fleeing the scene.
Police operatives were said to have arrived shortly after and evacuated the victim to the General Hospital in Ningi, where a medical doctor confirmed him dead.
According to Zagazola, the Bauchi State Police Command has reportedly launched a manhunt for the fleeing suspect while investigations into the incident continue.
