US singer, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has received a 50-month imprisonment sentence on Friday, October 3, 2025, from Judge Arun Subramanian in a Manhattan federal court.
The rapper was found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, violating the Mann Act.
AFRIPOST had reported that, he initially faced more serious charges, including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking, but was acquitted.
The 50-month sentence is less than the 11 years (135 months) prosecutors requested.
Earlier, his defense team had pleaded for 14 months, considering time already served since September 2024.
Alongside prison time, Combs was hit with a $500,000 fine, which is the maximum allowable.
Prior to the verdict, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs penned a heartfelt four-page letter to Judge Arun Subramanian, asking for a second chance and expressing remorse for past actions, including physical assault against Cassie Ventura and another accuser, ‘Jane’.
Notably, before the final verdict, Diddy Combs’ twins, Jessie and D’Lila Combs, graduated from Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth, California, on May 23, 2025, surrounded by family members.
At the event, Justin Combs gifted them diamond necklaces alongside Van Cleef and Arpels bracelets.
