Former Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Senator Solomon Ewuga, has passed on.
The APC chieftain died on Tuesday after a prolonged illness.
A family member in Akwanga and Nasarawa-Eggon confirmed his death late Tuesday, adding that details of his burial arrangements would be announced in due course.
Ewuga was a former Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State and later served as FCT Minister. He also represented Nasarawa North in the 7th Senate.
In 2021, he endured a traumatic kidnapping ordeal that left him with lasting injuries.
Until his death, he was respected as a role-model politician whose contributions to national development cut across several administrations since 1999.
