Police in Benue State have arrested a man alleged to be behind a series of killings in the Daudu axis of Guma Local Government Area.
The suspect, identified as 38-year-old Tienbee Austine Kamo from Uikpam in Guma, was picked up on Monday after credible intelligence.
A security analyst, Zagazola Makama in a post on X formerly Twitter on Tuesday, disclosed the development.
He wrote: “The Police Command in Benue says it has arrested a suspected mastermind behind several killings in Daudu axis of Guma Local Government Area.
“Sources said that the suspect, identified as 38-year-old Tienbee Austine Kamo of Uikpam, Guma LGA, was arrested on Monday following credible intelligence.
“According to the sources, the arrest was carried out by Supol Daudu in addition to other suspects already in custody in connection with the killings.
“The sources added that efforts were ongoing to identify, track, and apprehend other accomplices.
“He said the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) had commenced further investigation into the case.
