The Senators’ Wives Association has congratulated the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on her 65th birthday.

In a statement signed by its President, Dr (Mrs) Ekaette Unoma Akpabio, wife of the Senate President, the association described the First Lady as “an inspiration to women and motherhood, the mother of all and conscience of the nation.”

Akpabio praised Senator Tinubu for her compassion for the less privileged, especially women and youths, noting that she has remained source of encouragement to millions of women in Nigeria and beyond.

She said the First Lady’s philanthropic activities, carried out under the Renewed Hope Initiative, have touched countless lives in the last two years, uplifting widows, orphans, displaced persons and unemployed youths.

The statement added: “You have been the mother of all and conscience of the nation, showing love and care to all Nigerians irrespective of their ethnicity, religious and social status. Through this, you have inspired millions of women and many look up to you as a role model.”

The association pledged continued support for Mrs Tinubu’s initiatives, expressing delight in identifying with her on her birthday and her programmes aimed at improving lives across the country.

It prayed for God to grant the First Lady good health, strength and long life to continue supporting her husband, President Bola Tinubu, in delivering quality governance to Nigerians.
