Senate President Godswill Akpabio has celebrated Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on her 65th birthday, praising her as a symbol of compassion, resilience, and support for both her husband and the nation.

In a congratulatory statement issued on Sunday, Akpabio described the First Lady as “a steady pillar of love and strength whose kindness continues to touch countless lives.”

According to him, Mrs Tinubu has demonstrated unwavering dedication to service from her days as Lagos First Lady to her tenure in the Senate and now as Nigeria’s First Lady.

He noted that her philanthropic efforts, especially through the Renewed Hope Initiative, have given hope to women, youths, and vulnerable groups across the country.

“Your commitment to uplifting the less privileged has not gone unnoticed. You embody selflessness and have set a standard for service that many look up to,” Akpabio stated.

The Senate President also commended her role as a supportive wife to President Bola Tinubu, stressing that her “quiet strength at home has been the driving force behind the President’s ability to serve the nation with renewed energy.”

On behalf of the Senate and the National Assembly, Akpabio extended warm wishes, saying her life reflects compassion, service, and leadership.

“As a mother figure to the nation, your legacy in women’s empowerment, youth development, and education stands tall.

“I wish you continued health, happiness, and the strength to keep making a difference,” he said.

AFRIPOST reports that Mrs Tinubu, who clocks 65 today, has been widely celebrated across the country, with many Nigerians acknowledging her influence as a politician, humanitarian, and First Lady.
