Grammy Award winning music producer, Sidney “Omen” Brown has passed away at the age of 49.
According to report, his body was discovered on September 13, 2025, inside his Harlem, New York, apartment after a coworker grew concerned when he failed to show up for work and alerted his family.
The cause of death has not yet been determined. The New York City medical examiner is scheduled to conduct an autopsy to clarify the circumstances.
Brown, professionally known as Omen, built a remarkable career collaborating with some of the world’s biggest artists which includes Beyonce, Lil Wayne, Drake, Ludacris, Rihanna, The Weeknd, and many others.
Born to Martha Brown, Omen held a B.A. in sociology and music from Amherst College (2013) and a master’s degree in theological studies from Boston University (2016).
