The wife and daughter of the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Patigi Local Government Area of Kwara State, Muhammad Swasun have been kidnapped on Sunday night by unidentified gunmen.
According to the report, the gunmen jumped over the fence into the chairman’s compound, shooting sporadically to instill fear among residents.
They broke into one of the rooms where they found the wife and daughter and whisked them away at gunpoint.
A member of the state executive council of the party confirmed the incident to newsmen on Monday morning, saying, “It’s true that our chairman’s wife and daughter in Patigi were kidnapped last night.”
