Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon, well known as Reekado Banks, has hit back at a troll who mocked him for attending church, claiming it was because he had failed in the music industry.
The drama began after popular content creator Kesari shared on Instagram that he was considering drawing closer to God but was unsure whether to embrace Christianity or Islam. In response, Reekado Banks invited him to his church.
A viral video later showed Reekado and Kesari worshipping together, sparking mixed reactions online. While many applauded the gesture, a troll dropped a controversial remark: “When they fail at music, they start going to church.”
The former Mavin Records star did not let the jab slide. Taking to his page, he swiftly responded in a video: “Fcck that Nigga whose comment I saw that made me feel down today. My friend called me and told me to delete it. Fcck you!”
