Senate President Godswill Akpabio has praised Vice President Kashim Shettima, describing him as a stabilising force and a key strategic figure within President Bola Tinubu’s administration as Shettima marks his 59th birthday.
In a statement released through his Special Adviser on Media, Hon. Eseme Eyiboh, Akpabio lauded Shettima for his integrity, teamwork, and steadfast commitment to democratic principles.
He noted that the Vice President’s leadership has been instrumental in maintaining cohesion and stability at the federal level.
“On behalf of the 10th Senate, my constituents, and family, I extend my warmest congratulations to His Excellency, Vice President Kashim Shettima, GCON, on reaching this milestone,” the Senate President said.
“We celebrate not just your years, but your remarkable contributions to public service, from commissioner to governor, senator, and now Vice President.”
Akpabio highlighted Shettima’s resilience in the face of challenges and his persistent efforts to promote peace, unity, and national development.
“Your role as a stabilising factor in President Tinubu’s government is undeniable,” he said. “Your loyalty, cooperation, and vision continue to guide key policies that impact millions of Nigerians.”
