Nasarawa Senator dumps SDP, returns to APC

Must read

The Senator representing Nasarawa West, Ahmed Wadada, has rejoined the All Progressives Congress after months of political alignment with the Social Democratic Party.

Wadada, who left the APC in the build-up to the 2023 general elections, secured his senatorial seat on the platform of the SDP.

However, in what appears to be a political recalibration, the lawmaker yesterday formally announced his return to the APC.

In a letter addressed to the APC Chairman of Tudun Kofar Ward, Keffi, Wadada declared his intention to return to the party.

Titled, “Notification of my return to the All Progressive Congress”, Wadada said that his decision was taken after careful consideration.

He also noted that the decision was borne out of the desire to contribute to the growth, development and success of the party.
