Controversial Nigerian rapper and songwriter, Tochukwu Ojogwu, well known as Odumodublvck, has revealed that he recently received a gift of $20,000 from Grammy-winning star, Wizkid.
The artiste who disclosed this on X (formerly Twitter), explained that the Ojuelegba crooner handed him the money without requesting a verse or any musical contribution in return admitting that he never imagined Wizkid would bring him so much joy.
When a fan speculated that he might have recorded a verse for Wizkid before receiving the gift, the rapper jokingly dismissed it with, “verse kor, verse ni.” Overwhelmed, he repeatedly expressed his excitement online with multiple “arghhh” reactions.
After his post gained wide attention, another fan teased him about sharing part of the dollars he received. Odumodublvck quickly clarified that Wizkid was the one spreading generosity, not him.
Earlier this year, Odumodublvck had recounted how Wizkid supported him during a difficult period when he was bedridden, a gesture that significantly boosted his confidence and career.
