Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle has revealed his final 23-man squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and South Africa.
Recall that Goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali sustained an injury in Chippa United’s league clash on Monday. Despite his healing process, he still made the list.
Some other men who also made the list include Captain William Troost-Ekong, reliable forward Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, and Alex Iwobi.
Also, in Chelle’s list include Wilfred Ndidi, Ola Aina, Moses Simon, Samuel Chukwueze, and Calvin Bassey.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria will converge for the games against the Amavubi and Bafana Bafana in Uyo next week Monday.
The three-time African champions will host Rwanda in Uyo on Saturday, 6 September.
They will face South Africa in Bloemfontein three days later.
