Nigerian star Afrobeat singer, Shallipopi has once again shown love to his fans by gifting one of them a whopping ₦1 million for lunch.
The gesture happened after Shallipopi announced his presence online on X (formerly Twitter). A fan, identified as Adémola, jokingly asked him to send money for lunch. After some playful exchanges about food choices, Shallipopi requested the fan’s bank details and sent ₦1 million.
A screenshot of the successful PalmPay transaction quickly went viral, sparking excitement among fans and highlighting Shallipopi’s generosity.
Many social media users praised the singer for his kindness, while others joked that they would also start asking for “lunch money” whenever Shallipopi comes online.
