Nigeria’s former President, Muhammadu Buhari, has reportedly passed away.
The news was confirmed on Sunday afternoon by his former media aide, Mallam Garba Shehu.
According to Shehu, the former leader died in a hospital in the United Kingdom earlier in the day. However, specific details surrounding the circumstances of his death have not yet been made public.
