The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has named Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, a former Minister of Sports and close ally of ex-Senate President Bukola Saraki, as its Interim National Publicity Secretary.
Abdullahi is expected to work alongside former Senate President David Mark and ex-Osun State Governor Rauf Aregbesola in managing the party’s activities.
Also appointed were Chief Anayo Arinze as the Interim Deputy National Chairman for the South, and Alhaji Ibrahim Manzo as the Interim Deputy National Chairman for the North.
The appointments are seen as a strategic move by an opposition coalition aligning with the ADC as its main platform to contest President Bola Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general election.
