Tragedy struck on Tuesday morning along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in Oyo State as a major road accident reportedly claimed the lives of more than ten people.
The incident, which occurred near the Iwo Road axis, involved a collision between three Nissan Micra taxis and three heavy-duty trucks.
Sources at the scene revealed that all the vehicles were heading from the Iwo Road direction before the fatal crash happened.
Rescue operations were ongoing at the time of filing this report, with emergency responders working to recover the badly mutilated remains of the victims trapped in the wreckage.
