Leaders and chieftains of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Iseyin, Itesiwaju, Kajola and Iwajowa federal constituency, in Oyo State have commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for taking action to establish Federal University in Okeho in Oke Ogun geopolitical zone of the state.
The APC leaders made this declaration via a statement made available to Afripost on Wednesday.
The statement was issued at the end of a meeting presided over by a former Deputy Governor of the state, Barrister Iyiola Oladokun.
The party leaders commended Tinubu for taking time to establish the university.
They also urged saboteurs and sponsors of insurgencies to consider the overall interests of Nigeria as a sovereign nation.
They appealed to them to allow Tinubu to perform.
“We are grateful to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the University, the first federal institution in the entire ten local governments in Oke Ogun.
“We have endorsed him for second term because his progressive stance,in developing all parts of Nigeria, simultaneously, including Oke Ogun, a land that past government have forgotten.
“The APC chieftains appealed to saboteurs and sponsors of insurgencies to consider the overall interests of Nigeria as a sovereign nation and allow President Tinubu to perform”.
