Oba AbdulRasheed Akanbi, the Oluwo of Iwo, has narrated how a trailer that allegedly rammed into him unexpectedly overturned and sustained severe damage.
In a viral video posted on Tuesday, the Osun traditional ruler described the incident as a failed assassination attempt, saying the vehicle was intended to take his life but was miraculously stopped.
Although he did not reveal when or where the event occurred, the monarch said he witnessed what he believed were angels intervening after the trailer struck.
“The trailer hit us, but instead of doing damage, it crashed and was completely wrecked. I saw angels pulling it away,” he recounted. “If you truly choose God, never doubt His power.”
Oba Akanbi used the testimony to encourage others to put their full trust in God, emphasizing the importance of faith in times of danger.
