Online media personality, Isaac Fayose has berated popular nightlife promoter Pascal Okechukwu, well known as Cubana Chiefpriest, following the release of a photo showing him kneeling before Nigeria’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima.
The image emerged after Cubana Chiefpriest paid a visit to the Vice President in Abuja and posted a video from the meeting. Additional photos from the encounter later circulated on social media, sparking public reactions.
In a video reaction, Fayose accused Cubana Chiefpriest of lacking integrity. He drew a sharp contrast between individuals with genuine values and those who display subservient behavior for personal gain, likening the act of kneeling to that of a submissive pet.
Fayose went further, claiming the celebrity barman has no verifiable accomplishments and remained relatively unknown until recent years.
He speculated that Cubana Chiefpriest’s motives were driven by a desire for political protection, especially since the origins of his wealth remain questionable.
Drawing a comparison, Fayose praised fashion entrepreneur Seyi Adekunle, also known as Seyi Vodi, who recently visited the Vice President but maintained composure and dignity without kneeling. According to Fayose, Vodi exemplifies a man of integrity with a proven record of success.
He concluded by advising young Nigerians to focus on hard work and ethical conduct, warning against shortcuts or seeking undue favor from those in power.
AFRIPOST can confirm that Fayose is not alone in his disapproval, other personalities including comedian Deeone had publicly criticized Cubana Chiefpriest for the same behavior.
