A one-story building under construction in the Idi-Araba area of Mushin, Lagos State, collapsed on Sunday afternoon, trapping multiple individuals beneath the debris.
According to Lagos State Fire and Rescue Services spokesperson Shakiru Amodu, rescue teams have managed to save one adult male so far, while efforts continue to locate and free others who remain trapped.
Amodu confirmed that the collapsed structure was still in the construction phase and assured that emergency responders are actively working at the scene.
