The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the results of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) resit, conducted for candidates whose initial sessions were affected by technical issues.
According to a statement issued on Sunday by JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, a total of 336,845 candidates were rescheduled to take part in the supplementary examination.
However, 21,082 candidates failed to show up for the resit.
“Of the 336,845 who were eventually scheduled after isolated good sessions of the affected centres were excluded and their previously unverified candidates were added, 21,082 were absent,” the statement read.
No official explanation was provided for the large number of absentees in the rescheduled examination.
