Hamdiyyah Sharif, known for her outspoken criticism of Sokoto State Governor Ahmed Aliyu, has been reported missing.
Her lawyer, Abba Hikima, raised the alarm on Wednesday through a post shared on his official Facebook page. According to him, Hamdiyyah was last seen around 10 a.m. on Tuesday.
He revealed that she had left her residence to purchase food items in Sokoto but has not returned since then, and all efforts to reach her have so far failed.
Hikima confirmed that the Sokoto State Police Command has been notified of her disappearance and called for urgent action to locate her.
