The Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Abdullahi Saleh, has expressed deep appreciation for the dedication and hard work displayed by the commission’s team in Madinah during the ongoing 2025 Hajj exercise.

In a statement issued on Sunday, Saleh highlighted the team’s remarkable performance in welcoming Nigerian pilgrims to Saudi Arabia.

He described their commitment and round-the-clock service as a significant contribution to the overall success of the pilgrimage operations.

“The Madinah team, being the first to interact with our pilgrims, has demonstrated exceptional dedication. Despite the challenges, they have ensured that pilgrims are warmly welcomed, properly guided, and well catered to. Their efforts are nothing short of commendable,” he said.

He also extended gratitude to the airlines and various stakeholders involved in the coordination of the Hajj, acknowledging their vital roles in ensuring the smooth execution of the operation.

“The support we’ve received from our staff, the airlines, and other partners has been incredible. This collaboration has been key to the success we are witnessing,” Saleh stated.

Looking ahead, the NAHCON chairman noted that preparations were in full gear to begin operations in Makkah.

He expressed confidence in the readiness of the Makkah team to match or surpass the standards set in Madinah.

He assured intending pilgrims and the public that NAHCON remains committed to delivering a seamless and spiritually fulfilling Hajj experience.

Saleh concluded by praying for a successful Hajj season and reaffirmed the commission’s commitment to its vision of excellence in pilgrimage management.
