The suspects were apprehended on Monday, May 19, 2025, by operatives from the EFCC’s Lagos Zonal Directorate 1. The arrests followed credible intelligence and careful surveillance that linked the individuals to alleged cybercrime activities.

Items reportedly recovered during the operation include 26 luxury vehicles, high-end jewellery, several laptops, smartphones, and documents suspected to be used in committing fraud.
