The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar, has called on Nigerian Air Force personnel to remain resolute in their mission to safeguard the nation and its citizens from the threats of terrorism and banditry.

This charge was delivered during his visit to frontline troops in Kaduna, as disclosed in a statement released by the Nigerian Air Force.

Air Marshal Abubakar emphasized the need to sustain and escalate current operations, stressing that maintaining momentum is key to restoring lasting peace in regions affected by insecurity.

“While we’ve recorded notable progress, this is not the moment to relax,” he said. “We must double our efforts. The time has come to reinforce our aerial offensives against terrorists, insurgents, and bandits.”

He highlighted the importance of the military’s role in national stability, particularly as the Nigerian Air Force marks over six decades of service.

“As we celebrate 61 years of dedicated service to the country, we owe it to our people to provide renewed hope,” he said.

“They must see victories that confirm their Air Force remains vigilant, prepared, and committed to defeating all threats to peace.”
