In a major step toward boosting primary education in Kano State, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has announced the immediate hiring process for over 4,000 teachers who recently completed the BESDA training programme.
The announcement was made on Monday by the Governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, at the launch event for the distribution of school instructional materials.
According to the governor, all the educators will be subjected to an aptitude test as part of a screening process.
Those who meet the requirements will be granted permanent employment with the state government, specifically through SUBEB.
“This initiative reflects our commitment to strengthening education by integrating skilled and committed professionals into the system,” Yusuf stated.
