Kaduna State has been thrown into mourning following the death of Alhaji Ramalan Yero, father of former Governor Alhaji Muktar Ramalan Yero.
His passing was confirmed by Governor Uba Sani in a message posted on his official X account.
Alhaji Ramalan Yero was a notable figure in the Zazzau Emirate and was honoured with the traditional title of Turakin Dawakin Zazzau.
His influence reached beyond tradition, as he was also revered for his religious guidance and commitment to community development.
Governor Sani, expressing his condolences, described the late elder as a voice of wisdom and a steadfast leader whose absence would be deeply felt across the state and among the Muslim faithful.
He prayed for Allah’s mercy upon his soul and for strength for the Yero family.
