England international Trent Alexander-Arnold has officially parted ways with Liverpool FC to join Spanish giants Real Madrid, ending a remarkable chapter in his football career.
The news was confirmed by renowned sports journalist Fabrizio Romano via his verified X handle, where he posted, “Trent Alexander-Arnold to Real Madrid, here we go!”
He added that a verbal agreement has been reached and contract papers for a five-year deal are in progress.
In an emotional farewell post shared on social media, the 26-year-old right-back admitted, “This is easily the hardest decision I’ve ever made in my life.”
Alexander-Arnold, who graduated from Liverpool’s youth academy, made 352 senior appearances.
