Several intelligence sources have revealed that top-ranking bandit leaders are currently convening a secret meeting in a forested area of Kaura Namoda Local Government Area, Zamfara State.
According to insider information obtained by Zagazola Makama, the meeting is taking place at the home of a traditional Fulani figure locally known as the “Sarkin Fulani.”
The location is described as remote, well-fortified, and difficult to reach.
Sources say the assembly brings together commanders from various armed factions operating across the North West, including Zamfara, Sokoto, Katsina, and parts of Kebbi.
The meeting is reportedly aimed at strengthening collaboration among the groups—potentially to plan coordinated operations or escalate criminal activities in the region.
Although security agencies have been alerted to the development, their immediate response remains uncertain.
